Scholarship Opportunities
Girlhood United Scholarships
1.) Girlhood United Scholarship: This scholarship is open to any high school senior enrolling in an accredited two or four-year degree program. Must have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and be in good community standing.
Applications will open on March 01 and will close on June 15th. Scholarship winner will be announced on August 10th, 2026.
2.) Empowerment Scholarship: This scholarship is in collaboration with Journei2u Scholarship Fund Incorporated and is specifically for incoming or current freshman at Alabama State University. Please click the link below to apply!
Additional Scholarship Opportunities
1.) Burger King Scholars : Open to High School Seniors, Award amount between $1,000- $60,000. Applications will be accepted from October 15th through December 15th, 2026.
2.) Fidelity Scholars: Available for Highschoolers residing in CO, FL, KY, MA, NC, NH, NJ, NM, OH, RI, TX, UT, or Washington D.C.? (Award amount unknown) Deadline: January 29th, 2026 @ 11:59pm
3.) Thurgood Marshall College Fund | JP Morgan Chase Hardship Scholarship- Fulltime undergraduate students in the U.S Deadline: December 1st, 2025
4.) TMCF | Sallie Mae fund Completing the Dream Gap Scholarship- This scholarship is for undergarduate senior or graduate students who will complete their degree program by the end of spring 2026 Semester. Deadline to Apply is December 1st, 2025
5.) Thurgood Marshall College Fund has 8 scholarships available for the 2026-2027 academic year. These scholarships are available to undergraduate and graduate students,

6.) Equitable Excellence Scholarship -A current high school senior that resides in one of the 50 states , District of Columbia or Puerto Rico, who plan to enroll in a full-time accredited two or four-year university. Up to awards of $5,000 each! Deadline is December 18th, 2025
